The Mayan and Zoque artists associated with the Galería MUY include established and emerging creators in the diverse media of contemporary art. All were born and live in Chiapas, most now live in San Cristóbal. All continue to maintain residences in their traditional Indigenous townships.
The gallery takes special interest in painting, photography, video, installation, sculpture and performance.
Artists maintain private studio spaces, many in the Gallery MUY compound.1
