P. T'ul Gómez
Chonombyakilvo’, San Andrés Larráinzar, Chiapas, Mexico, 1997. He is an emerging artist who found his path as a ceramist, creating both sculptural works and high-design utensils. His preferred material is local (from San Ramón, in the Jobel Valley). He varies his firing technique, sometimes using an open-air pit, and other times a high-temperature kiln. In his accompanying texts, he molds his forms based on his memories, his research with the elders, and the collective subconscious of his community.
