“It is an artwork that was constructed ritualistically, incorporating a harmonization of song, dance, the presence of fire, earth, copal, water, and incense. Seeking to interpret the ‘ch’ulel’ by capturing body silhouettes that can represent the various movements of being, such as ascending and descending in different luminosities and dimensionalities. Exploring spaces and atmospheres, achieving a harmonization of colors and strokes that allows for a patient examination of each character within this artwork.” – Antún Kojtom
