“It also has the meaning ‘The jungle giving life’. It will give light; the woman finds the ceiba tree, not the papayas. There is no midwife, no one, because they live alone, so in this time, babies were not born directly for a long time. So, the baby is born on the trunk of the ceiba tree. The ceiba tree is sacred. When she feels pain, she goes to the ceiba tree, removes the pain, and the baby is born on the trunk of the ceiba tree.” – Kayúm Ma’ax
