“The artwork represents a character and a nahual-bird in a parallel entity between intangible worlds. The two vertical lines represent the two dimensions: one where the character resides and the other dimension where the chu’leles dwell. In this case, Chu’lel Lab Mut ‘nahual bird.’ The character intends to enter the other dimension and indeed perceives a morphing of the body due to the presence of the nahual-bird that is about to meet and engage in dialogue.” – Antún Kojtom
