Joel Pérez Hernández (PH Joel) fue seleccionado en Jóvenes Creadores 2026
Maya Tseltal artist PH Joel has been selected for the 2026 national Young Creators call for proposals. His inclusion in the Visual Arts discipline honors a robust artistic practice that engages in dialogue with memory, territory, collective heritage, and the evolving contemporary reality of indigenous communities.
Cecilia Gómez Díaz, a native of San Andrés Larráinzar, Chiapas, was awarded the 2026 National Textile Prize, the highest honor presented at the National Textile Contest organized by Mexico’s Secretariat of Culture and FONART.
